Despite the rain about 20 vehicles turned out to enjoy the mud. Mostly Suzukis and old Range Rovers- mine being the only Surf today, being joined by a 2004 Landcruiser.

The Landcruiser (Colarado) seemed to be very capable- even with just what looked like AT tyres on. It breezed over stuff the Surf struggled on- and the guy driving it no qualms about throwing round the obstacles (obviously a company car!!). The Lancruiser benefits from locking diffs- my 93 Surf doesn't even have LSD so any loss of traction on one side of the rear axle stops me dead sometimes.

Yeah- I was never really sure if the guy really knew what he was doing OR simply didn't haven't a clue and got around by sheer luck and a good motor. Last photo- I thought it was going under!
