  • TRO bresthigh

was up in the lakes at the weekend and cumbria council have put a TRO on bresthigh road. a farmer came up to us and said if you drive that road then i will take your plates and call the police. we thought this was a farmer just being a #@?> but we called the police and they confirmed this. there is just a road closed sign nothing official. i will try to get in contact with the council to see when it will be reopened. they have closed it because it needs repair.

There should be a TRO notice at either end .....

      Yes its TRO

I was hoping to drive it again in a couple weeks time, as its a great lane.

I emailed the area highways and transport manager at Cumbira CC last week

      the reply

"I am afraid it will not be open early in May. Work commences during the first week of May and is expected to take 3-4 weeks to complete"

so i wont be open until later on in June or July
