Don't worry about batteries just bring a light bulb. them up there keep nicking ours. They like to keep us in the dark for some reason.

I've just found a 15watt bulb under the kitchen sink, I think its for either the oven or fridge, but I'll leave it down here just in case someone buys one of those small screw fitting lamps on ebay.
I'm sure I have just seen one of those pale creatures from 'The Time Machine' in the corner.
