does anyone know if the samuria bends valves if the belt snaps ? or is there enuff clearance

Try a new belt first and see if it runs and give it a compresion test and that should tell

I understand they only tend to bend valves if the belt jumps teeth when the belt strips a couple of teeth . Thats normally at speed . Around town they just stop running and engine spins faster on trying to restart .
