Yes and yes, but not easily. Seen two V8 Zukis, Both built by LA Supertrux. the trouble with the RR chassis is, by the time you've shortened it enough to make the wheel arches sort of line up with the axles, the t/case output flange virtually bolts straight to the rear diff!!

I agree with Tony . I have seen and heard of all sorts in a Suzi engine swaps . Yes a Rover V8 will fit in a Suzi chassis so no need for the RR chassis . Only prob is the Suzi transfer box and axles will fail alot . So a good spares dept needed .
Why the interest ? Got a special build on the go ?
All that power in a Suzi will just produce a wheel spin device . Better with a 1900 Peugeot diesel lump . No revs but loads of torque , thats what you need .
Kits available from Rhino Ray . Or make up your own set up . As long as it is a rear wheel drive engine and gearbox it should fit . Ford Escort 1600 engine and box are popular . So are 1600 Vitrara engine as will bolt on Sami gearbox with aid of a drill on lower bolt holes .

Let us know whats going on .

Why not lengthen the Suzi body a bit and shorten the RR chassis less.

            Cheers

Ok the black suzi requiers a bit of work so may as well do it properly,a little lift here and a tuck there, and I was toying with a bigger lump cos there was a RR on ebay that would fit the bill,(it had mot so mrs sumo could use it for langdale, then bring it home and TonyN it)but thats now changed,so its still a 1300 for now but its still getting a lift.

As of 1600hrs today we are on PLANCEE.
What that is you will just have to wait till Easter.

If you are doing a lift what type ? Jotto and me made up some long shackles for our silver Suzi (to be tested at Langdale) for ease. With time a spring over axle will be done . I downloaded the DIY plans off a site posted here . Looks easy and about 1 1/2 day job . I can PM if wanted .
