Benders??

Been looking into pipe benders
thinking about making a roll cage for the Zook

anyone done this before?

and is this up to the job
not sure what sort of pipe to use yet

maybe gass pipe??

Those pipe benders look fine to me!! I'd be tempted to use something a little sturdier than gas pipe for a rollcage, tho!!!

You could have typed that a bit smaller!

That looks well up to the job. A 12 ton bender would be adequate. Blue band steam pipe complies with MSA regs. You could go heavier guage and use red band seeing as you will have a machine more than capable of bending it.

machine mart sell the same bender for a little over a hundred pounds ,but you could hire one from your local HSS hire centre ,as already said use red band pipe and that way if the bends you require are tighter than you can pull with the bender then you could always buy weld bends and weld these instead
