not on the road as an everyday car

        Normal!

universal joint in the steering gone

        err?

blue smoke (not run for a while)

Blue smoke could be the piston rings or the valve stem seals. The only way to tell which is by getting a compression test done.

        left hand drive

        No prob

        clutch shot

Have a look on ADK or Anvil Suzuki for replacement price.

        Peanuts judging by your description!

also where do i put the cornflakes???????

Seriously though. For one in that kind of condition I wouldn't pay more than about £75 for it. The 410 I got for nothing was probably better.
        It's only a hobby!

could pay over the odds for insurance on a LHD too...

if it hasn't run for a while then start it up again after a few hours/overnight and see if it still smokes.

they do seel for WELL over what they're worth, especially on Ebay!... just look for one that you like at the right price which you'd be willing to pay... simple as that!
best bet's probably the free ads... often see stuff cheap/free to good home there.
