  • 35" Tyres.

I was looking at the front o/s wheel arch. I measured from the centre of the hub to where the rust ended and then ran the OSF wheel up the ramp. I worked out that if I were to cut the rust out of the arch and shape the inner arch to suit, 35" tyres would fit, with room to spare for articulation. Virtual lift.
So, all I need now is an SJ410 gearbox to reduce the gearing for when I put the big beasties on and some wheel spacers to go with my bigger offset wheels.

And if the ealastic band won't turn the big beasties. I could always shove this in. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

I have just thought of a slight problem. What to do with the rear wheels? Bobtail it!!

I don't even bother to look on that guys site. That huge font just gets on my wick. He would get a lot more looks if you didn't have to scroll up/down/left/right, just to read about what is on offer.

Whooops! It is the other twit, not him, that uses huge fonts.

410 TRANSFER box . not gearbox is wot you need . Known as the 'Rock Lobster' transfer box as with the 413 gearbox will give good low gearing . 410 gearbox will not fit a 413 .
410 transfer box will have the handbrake on it as opposed to the 413 which has the handbrake on the rear shoes . I think you can loose the handbrake off the back and change the propshaft flange to fit the 413 one on .

I meant transfer box. My brain is addled from trying to ignore the ear-bashing from the other room.
