A friend of mine works for a heavy engineering company, I asked him to bend me up two lengths of steel, I now have two 2mtr lengths of 65mm x 45mm x 3mm angle so that I can reinforce the bottom of the outer seals, then I will fabricate some heavy duty jackable rock sliders.

Then go find some big rocks and have fun. Very jealous, wish I was close enough to drop in and borrow that truck no and then.

If you still have the 4 brackets for the trailing arms from the original lift kit would you be interested in selling them ?

so its been a while and I've had lots of other things to sort out in my head and the truck has been put to the back of the shelf until today. So today we added the sill strengtheners, cut out the corroded metal from around the rear quarter panels and plated them in.Progress is slow but steady.

I wanted to remove that stupid step thats left behind where the rear bumper sits,

So the plates were streched around the rear quarter and gently tacked in place to form a nice rounded rear end. much better me thinks.

Massive thanks once again to Stringer and Parrot for all their help today.Cheers boys.
