  • 4" Lift spring replacement advice

    Hi

Our 2nd Gen has got a 4" Full Suspension Lift Kit (Not Body Lift), It's the one that LA Supertrux did years ok. It was fitted by the previous owner so I don't know exactly what springs are on their.

I believe they are ProComp +4" Rear Coil Springs (part number 57490) with a set of ProComp ES3000 Shocks.

The back end is sagging and I want to replace the springs for slightly harder ones as we carry a stack of weight.

    Any suggestions?

Would the HDJ80 uprated springs from Roughtrax offer enough height to loose the sag…?

I think this is the spec of the springs that are on there…

I think std 80 series give between 3-4 inches of lift with a firm but acceptable ride, the uprated ones may be a bit harsh and need seats because they are thicker, just my understanding though and sure someone will put me right shortly👍

Try summitracing.com in the US - I'm pretty sure they list the +4" springs as parts. They definately list the shocks from various lift kit makers.

I fitted airbags to help with carrying all my camping gear - maybe something to look into if you are constantly 'loaded up'
