HID spot lamps

I have some 75W 4000k HID's for off-road use. I plan to mount two lamps on the roof in addition to the two on the bull bars. My question is which set should I put the HID's in? Another issue is if I put them on the roof lamps where can I mount the ballasts?

Why not mount the ballasts above the headlining?

Is there space in-between? I don't fancy having them on display it will look naff.

take off the plastic panel with the rear interior light, where the rear wiper motor & mechanism are located. Should be enough room in there for the ballasts.
