  • Rock sliders mounting query....

Whats the preferred 'look' for rock sliders, perpendicular to the chassis like the factory side steps, or with the outside edge angled upward?
If perpendicular, tight to the body/cill or with a gap like the sidesteps?

    Thanks awfully.

Angled edge would deffo work better as rock sliders, so I reckon fit them with a gap, and angle up, to provide side "presence" and also more protection of the cill...

When doing that look I angle up 20 degrees or so from the outriggers before welding them in place. When offered up the outriggers then sit level and the step part of the slider has an upward sweep from the sill edge
