Just a little tip for anyone fitting electric fan!!!

DONT USE VW Thermostats there Bolux!
Truck overheated this morning and poped grrrr now i have to walk backwards and forward from a public toilet with a sodding coke bottle!


Just ordered a DIY kit online for 22 quid Controler board with LCD Temp Display, Warning sound at set temperature ajustable from 60+ to 150oC.

Hopefully will solve my problem Fingers Crossed.

i did, just packed up
think the power of the fan is too much for it.

anyway this new one will be interesting and ajustable
with overide for when its getting worked hard.

or not its on a relay.

Make sure THIS new thermostat is correctly specced for the power of your fan, as it seems the VW one may not have been?
