  • A few questions from a newbie

Hey I have just bought myself a 1995 3.0td import surf, I am looking to make it a bit more offroad but still good on road, at the mo it has 15x9 alloys with 31" tyres I am looking for information on a few things,

    1, suspension lifts options
    2, body lifts options
    3, engine tuning
    4, A bars
5, top spot lights + bottom spot lights
    6, skid plates
    7, snorkels (kits)

    Cheers

www.roughtrax4x4.com for 2" suspension lift kit

surfenstein will make a body lift kit for you.

Engine tuning won't make a lot of difference

There was a thread started a few days ago in the general section about skid plates but have a chat with surfenstein again about them.

    Talk to TonyN about snorkels

Have a look on roughtrax for spotlights or just search the internet.

If you want a bigger lift than the 2" suspension then you can go big money for the 4" superlift

or medium sort of money for the Landcruiser spring lift.
You will get a 3" min on the l/cruiser springs but you will then need front ball joint spacers and extended brake lines aswell. There is alot of work to do but its well worth it in the end.I'll post some pics of my old 2nd gen as standard then lifted with the l/cruiser springs and 33 on 15x10's
