Been looking into this for as long as I've had the truck, but what's always confused me is what axle to use.
I guess the 'easiest' way would be to swap both axles (F&R) for a pair off a Hilux pick-up, but I'd rather keep my (stronger) 4-pin rear. So is that just a case of getting the front and re-gearing either so they match.?
Are there any other front axles from the Hilux range that would accept the 4-pin 3rd member.? I think the Landcruiser does but they come with a whole host of issues like hi-steer etc..
