link to turbo mod?

can anybody find me the link to the turbo mod? or better yet tell me how to do it?
i read somewhere on here the other day about putting 1 or 2 washers in the turbo somewhere??
anyone know what im talking about?

I did this recently as per this post http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/forums/sh...ad.php?t=60512.

It's well worth it and takes 5 mins!

I just went travelling around Cornwall for 5 days and got back with better performance and better fuel efficiency (due to not having to drop a gear and caine the engine!) which also kept the noise down as 5th gear was in play most of the time!

Thanks for the links guys. I noticed however that was for the 2.4? is it the same for a 3.0lt turbo??

Sorry mate, an oversight on my part.
I've looked into it but I don't know the 3.0L engine at all I'm afraid.


It's possibly the same principle but I don't know how to physically do it on that engine.

no worrys. Do you know if its the same CT20 turbo? Im sure if it id then the same mod is possible?
