  • Anyone got the 2" Roughtrax 3rd Gen Sus Lift?

    Hi All

Getting closer to deciding on which lifts to have done.

Just wondered if anyone can supply any feedback on the above kit. Particularly interested in how it changes (if at all) the ride etc and whether it is better for towing with it on.
    Cheers

yes 2" lift front and rear procomp

yes it does drive differently but not in a bad way - just different

i had oil shocks front and rear for 3 years ish but changed the rears to gas shocks for loading - unless you are carrying lots of weight i would go oil - the gas shocks on the rear with a little weight are great - unloaded the can be a bit harsh

get some bfg AT's and it looks the mutts nuts - 2" lift on new shocks on the back make the truck look quite perky !!

even if you chnage the springs and shocks for standard height you will notice a vast improvement over standard 15 year old ones

terry how did you find the drive home - the truck had no loading on it then - a bit harsh or ok ?

      Regards,

      alex

Thanks for that guys - very helpful. Maybe it will be good for me as about 20-50% of the miles will bbe towing.

          Any further comments welcome...
          Cheers
