  • body lify spacers

Found a company that does lift spacers made out of high density polyethylene. Ive only ever used/seen aluminium billet spacers, has anyone got any comments either good or bad.

Below is a reply from the company that sells them to my inquiry regarding material used

    Hi,

The spacers are made from high density polyethylene which is a tougher and more durable material than nylon having a Max temp of 120ºC and a min temp of -100ºC. It has good impact resistance, is light weight, very low moisture absorption, and high tensile strength.

All of these make the material an excellent candidate for our spacers.

We have a full technical specifications of our products should you require it

Only once since fitting them, but they do keep the body in place with an extra 150 bhp acceleration!

I've worked with engineering plastics for over 20 years now
and HDPE is the best material for this application no worries.
