re the lights, i had a quick look on eblag and they dont seem to do the lexus type for 2nd gens plus bl00dy expensive, so it'll be the standard ones i think, may have to wait till after the hols moneywise or perhaps pick em up and pay ya for em when i visit, see how it goes!Too young to die and too old to give a toss

No, don't do it Ian. The one thing you can do to 'cheapen' the look of the rear end of a Surf is to fit those horrid 'Lexus style' light clusters. They only look half decent on white or silver cars, not manly trucks!
Rear light clusters should be either tinted or all red for a neater look. (thats my opinion anyway and I'm entitled to it so there.)
