  • Light bar wiring

    Hi all

I'm sure this has been covered before, but.....

I am going to fit a light bar over the weekend. And I am curious to see what way people have routed the wires into the car, and where relays etc have been fitted. Can anyone point me in the right direction?? I have a 93 SSR-G with sunroof if that makes a difference

    Cheers

    john

Cool thanks, that takes of how to wire them up, but what is the best route for the cables?? I don't really want to drill holes if I don't have to

you should be able to put the cables under the door seals and run them down that

Hmmm... bit ropey though if its a permanent fit Rich. Better done properly by drilling a hole and using either a waterproof gland or a waterproof connector. I was a bit scared back when I did it, but its never leaked, and now I drill holes in bodywork with abandon!

I wrote this 'how to' some time ago.

              thank you,

that is an awesome write up, Iam printing now to have a really good read.

I am still about drilling into the roof, but I have only just got the car. Maybe that over protectiveness might wear away.

I am complete newbie to it, but can't wait to get stuck in
