Do you have a 'Just Tyres' round you're way. They are one of the few tyres places that still fit tyres you've supplied for sensible money. I know the guys at my local one well now, and get a it done for a small cash bribe, but I think they normally charge £5-8 to fit and balence a tyre you've supplied.4x4toys.co.uk - Keeping you on and off the road...

There's a couple of places round here do it, both independents, one is the place all the local small businesses use for their trucks, the other is a little place that specialises in selling part worn tyres, they only charge £4 to fit a tyre whether it's supplied by them or you + £3.50 for balancing.=========
=SOLD UP!=

Thanks, there used to be a just tyres in the next town, pretty sure it's gone now though although there is one in Mansfield but I'm scared to take the truck there....
Will give them a bell and sound them out, just begrudge being forced to pay big cash for a cheapo road tyre.

Check your local paper for small firms selling budget tyres/mot's/servicing as there's plenty of independants with the kit if you do the research. I found a great outfit on my doorstep; they fitted tyres at £5 a corner, replaced a cv boot inner & outer for £35 (Roughtrax parts supplied by me) and will be MOTing my cars from now on.Wax on, wax off

A 265/75/R16 is 31.6x10.6x16 not 33x12.5Originally posted by RodLeachIm probably wrong here - but feel i should warn you anyway mate.
the Auction for the Kl71s by Lewis 4x4 says 33x12.50 but on the actual page it says 205 80 R16.
The 265/75/16s are more expensive then the 33's which would lead me to belive the price is um.... wrong.
A 33x12.5x16 would be closest in metric 305x70x16 actual size (32.8x12.2x16)
I'm getting 285x75x16 to fit the free wheels my kind brother donated
That converts to 32.8x11.4x16
All Scottish members I will do inner and outer cv boots all day long and twice on a sunday for £35 per sideOriginally posted by FordyCheck your local paper for small firms selling budget tyres/mot's/servicing as there's plenty of independants with the kit if you do the research. I know
Thats why i was saying the price is wrong, If the 265/75 were more expensive per set then a 33x12.50 then something is wrong. More rubber = more cost.
ive got 265/75/16 on at the moment
