Yup, the problem is my mate insisted on getting a gen 2 engine... and for all our searching we could not find a decent pin out wiring diagram for the gen 2 loom, mainly the three plugs that interface with the car loom.... From the pic that is a Gen 1 engine (Karmen vortex AFM, dead give away lol) which makes life much easier!
Lextreme is a fountain of handy information though Good luck with the project! With the correct diagrams it shouldn't be so bad!
Its running aftermarket management now... Much easier, and more scope for power (supercharging etc) It also has launch control with is fun, pops and bangs and makes lots of noise holding the revs untill you dump the clutch
(not demonstrated for the sake of neighbours, also kept below 2k)
