  • Guard thingy

Made up a guard/bash plate thingy today. Since removing air con rad and original slightly bulky bash plate i opted for this.

Straight forward enough. Cut to size and beat the life out it with the biggest hamer i could find to shape it.

That looks great - I'm wanting to do the same as I want my air con out and a good bash plate to go there instead...

Yeah took my air con out since it wasn't workin. Gives a little bit more roon underneath as well but it left the underside exposed to the elements, especially the bottom of radiator

Simple enough to do. I cut mine that shape so it was easier to bend at the front of motor and used the 4 outer bolts to attach.

Just one piece of aluminium check plate a sthil saw with stone cutting blade ( metal blades melt it). A drill bit and a big hammer

                    Job done.
