Well I finally took pictures of the new unit.
This does it all: Rear camera, DVD, SD card, USB input, radio, TV (when I take the aeiral out of the glove box and put it on the roof), PS2 (via the inputs on the centre console). A music DVD holds somewhere in the region of 499 tracks.
On the down side, it is larger than double din so I had to trim the dash to get it to fit. The clock loses 13 minutes a day.

Looks good Mav
I recognise that name, they supplied my screen - aint their delivery fast ?
Rear veiw camera is great during the day, not so good in the dark. My camera automatically mirrors the picture, then the unit flips it again so items that should be on your left appear on the right of the screen (must change camera (somewhen) oh and fit second camera on the back of the trailer).
The front only hindges down it doesn't come off, but you'll need a crowbar to get the unit out of my dash, and by that time (as the lad who thumped my mirror found out (he didn't expect to be chased down the path by a 59 year old woman in her wellies (mother had been sorting out the goat at the time)and by me in the truck, boy he could run fast)) me and the dogs (and probably mother if shes in the area (forget the dogs it would be mother I'd be most worried about) would be on them.
Yep the delivery was good (puts many English suppliers to shame), and considering I got it all in for 117GBP, I was impressed. Grinding the opening in the dash so it would fit was a bit worrying tho (I could never sell the Surf I'd just have to start again, it's taken my five years to get this far).
cheers mate !!!sounds good to me, ones just gone on flebay for £77 , got my eyes on th next one !!! so u recommend them then ???
Down points:
You have to cut the dash hole bigger to get it to fit.
The radio doesn't have RDS, or Traffic reports.
The DVD/CD player always resarts at the begining of the disc when switched on.
The clock gets slower and slower every day.
Up points:
Just look at what you get for your money, yes I'm happy with my purchase.
