Axle conversion

Hi every-one !

I've just bought a 1989 d.c. (LN105 - engine 2L) and want to improve her axles' strenghtness in sight of heavy-duty-african raids....
Does anybody know if my veichle's axles can be easily-substituted with other series' axles ( f.e. j6 - j7 ) ?
