  • Oil catch can

Well, my other ongoing project whilst I have been doing the fan
is this. Finally managed to find and adapt a receptacle for the
purpose. Not flashy, and as yet unpainted and unfitted, but getting
there. One question, what size bore of pipe do I need for the breather
    hose fittings on the engine?

15mm hose fits straight on the rocker cover outlet, I think it's about 20mm on the air filter to turbo tube.

They made that bugger awkward to adapt then. I wondered why
there was that big bulge in the pipe on the connection to the plastic
      tube. Cheers.

It is indeed. It's the next thing on my to do list, (provided the cooling system
is now leak free and working properly). Guess what colour I've sprayed the
catch tank? Fitted a couple of hose tails fittings to it, (the BSP airline types),
the other day, so just have to find somewhere to mount it in the engine bay
          now.

Fitting time for the catch can is drawing ever closer. After I
get the exhaust clamp back on, it's next on the list. Just two
more brainpicks beforehand. Is it worthwhile fitting a baffle in
the catch can, or should it not be necessary? Secondly, would
it be best to fit a breather filter on the outtake?

                Cheers.
