an extenal sunvisor for the front windscreen. Im a tad against paying £100 plus for a bit of plastic.

Any serious suggestions??

I would think you would need to make a wooden 'former' the shape of the visor you want , then heat the plastic to the shape of the former . May be a bit tricky to do but not imposible . Good luck with it if you try , may have a few to make if it works from members wanting them .

Or you could just use a sunstrip across the top of the glass - you can them in enough colours nowadays. Much cheaper, though no doubt that will automatically qualify you as a "boy racer". Or just tint the top of the screen? Again - much cheaper.

looks like a floorboard painted blue and screwed on.perhaps something like "no more nails" would hold it?

i know that superglue will crack your windscreen though
