  • 2" rear coil spacers fitted.....

.....no saggy arse now! I'm trialling some Roger Brown 2" coil spacers- not sure if I'm going to keep them on yet though.

    What do ya think?

If you don't keep em on I would be interested in buying them off you - my truck needs something done. Got a 2" lift kit 2nd hand but the springs are tired I think.

As for where they came from I am guessing Roger Brown in the US, see here:

If several people are interested in any bits from him perhaps we can get together with a group buy?

What are they made of, it cant be too expensive to get them made up here if we want a couple of kits?

If there's enough interest I could get some made here in the UK. The material appears to be black Polyethylene (I'll get this checked). Or as an alternative Roger Brown might do a group discount?

I have Propcomp +2" rears (which I think have sagged after 2 years use). A 1" spring spacer might give a more 'level' appearance- but due to the design of the spacer (it has an inner and outer step) I think 2" is a minimum size.

It says on his site he can supply cut-down spacers of 1" or 1.5"

I think I have +2" procomp springs (which have sagged) - with the 2" spacer would I need extended brake lines or any other mods too?

Very interesting. An photos of them fitted...? The actual spacers themselves rather than the result...?

Yes, any chance of a photo of it fitted?

You'd definatly need to drop the panhard rod mount down, the handbrake cables may be a little tight, but they get away with them on a 4" lift.

The brake line is just the single rubber pipe from the load sensing valve to the axle, I'd get a braided one as its longer and you want to stop it bulging under pressure.

Toney is correct about the other mods that might be required. A longer, braided rear flexible brake is a useful addition anyway. The panhard rod dropdown bracket levels the panhard rod. Also worth considering would be longer shocks. I installed these 2" coil spacers on top of a 2" Pro Comp (bigger spring) suspension lift.

The photo shows the spacers installed.

Thanks for the info tony/neville - I already have longer shocks (procomp ES3000) so looks like the hose and panhard bracket is all I would need.
