clicking

can any 1 shed some light on a problem im having with my 92 surf
when turning on full lock to the right im hearing a loud clicking noise from the front left side i've tried jacking it up and turning it by hand but as usuall it dont do it then typicall hope somone can help

Its not the bolts grinding on the lock stops, is it?
If so, cover them in grease and it should stop.

if its in 4wd then you should check your cv boots for leakage of grease thru holes or tears, a dry or contaminated joint deriorates fast and clicks as it rotates

if in 2wd then the above shouldnt apply
