got my new wheel arch extension kit - stuck with fitting...
    got them from 4x4 accessories

With the 4 arches I got 4 seals, and a bag with
6x self tapping screws, 6x washers, 6x L-piece, 6x little black clip thingy (which the self tapping screw goes in).

I got some vague advice on the phone about fitting. I gather 2x sets of screws, L-plates etc are used for each rear arch,
and 1x screw etc for front arch (and mud-flap fitting also used),

I am still suprised 2 fitting points can hold these on,

Can anyone help me in where to position these fitments and more importantly where does each 'bit' go to hold the arch to the vehcile....
before I get the drill out and bodge the fitment..

    thanks

Hi, I fitted the same arches to my surf, if you look at the wheel arch on your car you should see small indentations, also screws in place holding the plastic corner piece on the rear arch. These should correspond with little indents on your new arch. As it happened mine didn't so I drilled 4 holes in each new arch and drilled corresponding holes on car arch and bolted on.

2 per arch will not support them. I would use at least 3 plus existing screw holes.
Drilling the lip of the arch on the car was very easy, as was drilling the new arch.

    good luck

      ok - thanks Ronnie,
I see the small indentations in the new extended arch, and I see where these match on the vehicle - where the existing liner is fixed in place.
I guess the new arch extensions go OVER the mud flaps,

but I am still unsure how the top part of the extended arch fits flush with vehicle and how i use the 'L'-shaped right angle brackets, screws and clips that came with the kit?

        sussed it now

        Its OK

I started fitting a back one, and sussed it out, the indents all match with existing screws and bolts, and the thing sits tight.

and I realize all the brackets and screws etc that came with the kit are for the front arches, to use as an adaptor between existing screws and the extended arch

given up for tonight, as i cant be bothered to take the back wheel off at moment, and need to do that to access a couple screws
