  • Cylinder Heads

Can anyone tell me the best place to get a new cylinder head for a Surf 1990 2.4td LN130.
    Chainlocker.

UK Cylinder Heads http://www.ukcylinderheads.co.uk/ or Milners http://www.milneroffroad.com/ or Roughtrax http://www.toyotahilux.com/

Edit: Go for a NEW head and not a recon and make sure you get one complete with valves, etc.

    Rich.

I can tell you that the one from UK Cylinder Heads (the Head Company) is a genuine toyota one and comes in at £595+vat = £699 or £818.98 including Gaskets/Bolts/VAT (and I think) delivery.

Does anyone know if the Milner/Roughtrax ones are genuine toyota?

The Milner head on their site is listed at "only" £480+vat = £564
and the Roughtrax one is a whopping £630+vat = £740

Not sure on the Milner one, but i do know its minus the cam etc so you need to use a lot of you original bits where as the UKCylinder heads is complete and ready to bolt on.

Cheers Koi, I have ordered the one from UK Cylinder Heads now.

The head gasket they sell is not a genuine toyota one but he did assure me that they have never had any complaints or returns on them.
