  • help non start/abs issue

    hi everyone
having driven my new surf home without incidence it began having issues.
firstly i had to jump start it on the second day and diagnosed bad batterys, although now replaced with good ones the starter clicks and doesnt turn over, the engine seems to move and rock freely.
Also the abs now cycles continuously, making a click and whiring sound with matching abs light going on and off.
I have tried getting up fault codes using the jumper method in the diagnostic port but all seems normal.
I dont know weather these issues are related hope someone can help thanks

        starting and charging fine now,
few niggles, clicking noise in back left corner, sounds like a relay or something and just clicks every ten seconds constantly until car is locked up

        few clunks going over bumps
ordered new shocks as these seem ancient and knackered

        thanks

clicking, was loose connection on trailer socket relay
ordered front transfer oil seal off milners, could afford seal, oil and postage for same price as genuine seal
starting to get some good use out of her

fitted new rear shocks, the clunking was where one shock had snapped off at the top
left the fronts alone as they had been changed to kyb excel g shocks, will see how it rides for now and change if necessary.
replaced transfer oil seal and replaced oil in rear diff.
only brake fluid and front diff left to do
i noticed the turbo and bypass water pipes are weeping where they meet the block, does anyone know how these are attached to the block?
the rear one looks as though it has a screw to hold it in not sure about the front one? does the whole thing screw into the bock?
