Hi Everyone, after some help please.
i have a Gen3 surf with the 3L TD engine, 1KZ-TE.
it runs well but the injector light is on the dash (well i assume it is, next to the battery light and looks like a drip). It was stood a long time until i used it last week, lots of black smoke on first start up but has cleared with use. full tank of fresh diesel has made no difference.
I dont trust any of the local garages as heard bad reviews from all of them. went to halford Autocentres for a diagnostic plug in but they said they couldnt read it because its import. not sure i believe them.
any guidance on where to start or if anyone else has had this problem. thank you!
