  • Hub cap advice....

    Hi All,

Recently fitted some nice new AISIN freewheel hubs to the front of my Gen 2 KZN130, but now I cannot get my hub centres (the plastic things with the Toyota logo - pic attached) over them - they are not deep enough.

However I do have a slightly different centre from a spare set of alloys I bought a few years ago which is deeper (by just under a centimetre) which does fit over the freewheel hub.

This one is different in that rather than the silver Toyota logo in the centre, this one has the word TOYOTA in caps, in gold in a gold circle. Sadly I only have one of these....

Does anyone know where I can get hold of another one of these deeper covers? or what they might be off - is there another model with compatible centres?

    Thanks in advance...

How will you lock and unlock the hubs with a cap on them? I used a holesaw to remove the centre of the original caps.

        Hi Nev,

        They just pull off!

pull off, switch hub, push back on. takes 10 seconds (on the side that I do have a hub cap on). Keeps them clean as well.
