The gauge on the dashboard says the tank is empty, but the warning light is not on. Would this mean the float/sender in the tank is stuck, or there's a fault at the dashboard end?
I'm guessing the float because while the truck was SORN, it had no more than 5 litres of diesel in there. I've now filled the tank and no movement on the gauge, but just concerned though that the light isn't on too.
