4wd noises

Hi all

A quick question about multimode 4WD on a gen 3 Surf.

Noticed recently that I get a noise / small judder when turning on wet roads with 4WD engaged.
When I had the rear prop off and running with 4WD centre diff lock didn't have a problem with it front wheel drive only on full lock.
Is the centre diff starting to play up in any way, or is it normal and I just not noticed it much before.
Tend to use 4WD in wet to stop back end stepping out under power on corners.

Did you move the transfer lever or just press the button?
Is the orange light illuminated on the dash icon?

Yes you can (AWD) but only if it has a centre diff. (Multi-mode)

Hi

Just used the button with both props and in the wet.

Obviously used diff lock when I had the rear prop off to run front wheel drive only.

Hadf a thought today as well, the noise, is it from the diff or the rear wheels trying to push the front wheels out of track, even though the fronts are driving. only does it on or near full lock. Obviously quiet as a mouse when just using 2 wheel rear drive on or near full lock.
