  • 2" Body Lift Front Bumper Brackets

    Hi Guys,
I'm going to fit a 2" body lift kit to my 95 KZN130 Surf. Could anyone provide me with the dimensions or a simple drawing for me to make the brackets to raise up the front bumper 2"?
I'm having a friend make them for me so a simple drawing that I could give to him would be fantastic!

Also excuse my ignorance, but other than loosening and retightening the steering column clamp is there anything else I need to know before I dive in?

    Cheers!!!!

Here is a photo. No dimensions but the holes are 2" apart centre to centre.

The top four are the rad drop brackets, showing front and rear (welds flushed off) and the bottom two are the bumper lift brackets.

This may have been shown before but I'm showing them just in case it hasn't.

    Happy lifting.

Been a while but I have done a trade with my father with my Subaru Forester for his 1995 Surf 3 litre automatic.

I would like to a 2" body lift and 2" suspension lift but does TonyN still do the body lift kits?

Roughtrax or milners for the suspension kit?

Thanks in advance for any help!

        Regards.

Xpajun do a 2" body lift kit for about £60 but you'd have to get the brackets, as pictured above, made for you as these don't come with the kit.

Thanks for the help so far!

Take it the rear bumper if mounted to the body rather than the chassis?

Any dimensions for the rad pieces?

I seen a 2" lift kit on eBay for £40. Don't know if anybody has tried them?

Also I have standard alloy 15" rims, best biggest tyre for?

              Thanks again!

The radiator doesn't need to be repositioned on the 3.0.

Ref radiator, I read something about modifying the cowling around the fan?

I lifted my forester before giving it to my father and that was not an enjoyable experience, thankfully the Surf has a chassis and no struts!

As Bushwhacker said the rad doesn't need the drop brackets as long as you remove the lower fan blade cowling. I was told if you want to put that back on then you will need to to drop the rad. That's what I did anyway and it's not that difficult a job. I made them from 3mm swg galv. The hole centre to bolt centre is again 2" and the other dimensions aren't overly important.

So the front bumper is the only one needing modified, the rear lifts with body?

I have looked on the site and it would appear the steering linkage apeture with needed modified and pos the high/low aperture?

                      Any suggestions on suspension lift?
