tyre valves

hi, I have some after market rims on the surf that came with the car when I bought it. I've just got a new set of tyres and apparently they have bent metal valves on the rims that are now leaking badly. all the garages around here seem to have issues getting new ones. seems strange to me. anyone had similar issues??

If you go to one of the commercial vehicle tyre houses you'll get the
angled valve stems no problem.

Cheers guys. Sometimes it's just nice to know other people have the same issue. Bit of moral support. The more I investigate the more I think the cowboys that fitted them took the valves out, realised they don't have new ones then banged the old ones back in with damaged rubbers and not tightened them up. So any one in York give holgate tyres a wide birth. Thanks again folks. Love this forum
