Suspension lift advice wanted please

I have 2nd gen 3.0 td surf
I was looking into lifting up 2" or 3" up
Just wonder if someone could give me some idea what kit I need,how much work or is it a garage job?And maybe a total cost

3" on IFS is not cheap if yo want any sort of suspension travel...

I'd split the difference and do 1.5"-2" body lift and 1.5" suspension...
small (20mm) Ball joint spacers, couple of winds on the torsion bars and some coil spring spacers for the rear...

Total cost? less than £200...
and you can do it all on your drive in stages....

Seems the easiest and cheapest way is to either buy a set of land cruiser 80 series or roughtrax plus 2" springs and lift the front on the torsion bars about 1 to 1.5" but I'm sure someone with way more expertise will be along shortly to shoot me down and put you straight.
