  • Shock Absorbers

I need to replace all the shocks on my Surf (2.4 TD auto), the ones on it at the moment appear to be Rancho RS5000, but according to the details on Roughtrax website, they don't have the ability of connecting to the "hard / soft" suspension adjustment solenoids.

I can't afford the ones that do work with the adjustable "hard / soft" stuff though, does this make a difference?

    My wife found these,

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/14101...f13=80&ff14=92

Would they fit do you think, or are they that price for a reason?

    Thanks

Neither of those will fit the Surf.
There both for a pickup, the rears are eye fitment at both ends,
you need eye at the bottom pin at the top for the rear.
The fronts, although the right fitment, eye at the bottom, pin at
    the top are too long.
    Still on a mission.

Thanks, I thought there must be a reason why they were so cheap.

I'm guessing that it must be ok to fit shocks that don't work with the hard / soft suspension solenoids. I'd rather have the adjustment thing working if it's there, but if all the attachments have been removed (haven't checked yet) I'll just go with the non adjusting type.
