  • OK ..now what..any suggestions..???

Well, after spending all my dough on new calipers, discs, shockers, New solid flywheel and clutch..(EEK..!)
    A) I've run out of money and B) the back bumper rotted out so much it had to come off, (before it fell off).
So anybody got any suggestions on what to do with this bit next.?
I'm not paying ££££'s for new chrome or even second hand gear for a few bob less..got none left anyway.. Has any one done something different and.. how legal is this, as it is?

The rest of the truck is good so gotta carry on now.

    Hi

There's no legal requirement to have a rear bumper as far as I know....plenty have made there own with steel sheet or steel tube...how are you with a welder?

My old 2nd gen was like that at the back. I took the old rusted bumper off and liked the look.

I'm no welder guys, so what if I just clean and paint up the towbar, cut off the wheel arch loose ends and try to get some mudflaps of some kind to finish it off..
Looking through some of your pics on here, I see a couple with what look like bumper bars off of L200's and pickups.

That ones very heavy duty (and heavy) being a tow bar as well....looks good though. I think I'd skip the tow part and do it for it's look in a lighter/thinner steel, that's just me though.

Get yourself a welder and some steel, have a go.
