Hi All,
The top mount of the offside rear shock has broken, i heard a thumping noise this morning and looked under to see what it was and it has snapped/corroded away between the mount and the upper spring carrier!
I am not holding my hopes to high but does anyone know an easyish/cheapish fix for this as it is one entire section that is welded to rear axle/subframe. No easy way of getting to it either unless the back axle is dropped out and then it is still a huge job to repair/replace along with all the other bits that will fall apart in the process. Sort of answered my own question really but though I would put out there to you clever bunch as you never know....
The engine is good and all mechanically sound but the underside is a bit rusty as you can probably work out from this issue, didn't think it was this bad though.
