ATF oil cooler and gauge fitting

Got my 13 row cooler kit to fit but am now thining of doing a gauge too.

Im quite curious to see the difference it will make so would like to fit the gauge but am unsure on a couple of things.

Where would be the best place to put the gauge sender. Im assuming the options are gearbox outlet or the sump. Outlet seems better in my head but id like opinions. I also expect mounting something into the outlet is more complicated ?

Also what kind of sender will I require (thread size etc) ?

Anyone just got a picture of the OEM sender that turns the autobox temp light on then so I can remover it, measure the threads and tee off it ?

Dont really want to go into the sump so guess ill be taking the switch off and making something up - just unsure what fittings it will be
