Alloy size?

my apologies for being a dumb ass, but are the standard alloys of a '93 surf 8''x15''? looking to replace them with something else. The reason i ask is that it has 15x7jj-8 on the alloy themselves.

8's will be OK, especially if you have wheel arches, but make sure thet are for IFS trucks though, solid axle trucks have a narrower axle, and more offset in the rims, so they stick out more if you put them on a Surf. Personally I like the look, but some times Mr Plod gets uppity about it.
