I am after a buyers guide, what to look out for/avoid. I used to have an LC Colorado so I am familiar with the chassis and engine issues. Are gen 3 models problematic with the 4wd system like the gen 2 are as this is my main concern.

Worth checking the 4x4 button just to make sure it engages and disengages properly. Mine sticks sometime as it doesn't get much use.
Not so easy to get second hands spares for as the 2nd gen so make sure all the electrics work and the interior trim is ok.
