Front windscreen wiper

I have just fitted a second hand front windscreen wiper motor as the old one stop working. The problem now is when I switch the wipers off the blades don't return to the bottom of the screen but 'park' almost vertically in line with the edge of the windscreen.

Can any one help?

I am sure I read a thread on this problem but cant find it.

Your motor is out of whack with the wiper assembly. You need to run the motor without the wiper assembly connected,let the motor park and then connect to the frame assembly. Easier said then done!!

Thanks for your quick reply.

Job done. It was bit of a fiddle and took three attempts to get the linkage in the right position when matching up to the motor spindle, but now working fine.
