  • Rear Diff Pan Leaking

Long time no post and long story short. My rear diff pan is leaking. I have cleaned, plugged with a chemical metal putty, covered with expoxy chemical metal, with a final splash of underseal. BUT 1 week to the day and it's doing it again. My welder mate isn't keen to patch it. Can a replacement pan be fitted? Or do I have to bit a bullett and get a replacement housing?

Get one off a breaker, best solution to be honest.
well, that was a bad idea!

ok, so my reply didn't post!

I had thought of that as a last resort - only because of the time she's just been off the road with a heart transplant - had injector pump recon'd. Any how, have found a local garage run by a 4x4 enthusiast, who manufactures diff pans and has worked with surfs before. Soon to be job done!!
