  • Genuine Toyota green coolant?

Just been looking on Roughtrax and wondering what the differences are between the red and green?

I am not talking about regular green anti-freeze but the Toyota one. Not seen anything regarding their green coolant on the interwebs just the classic "Toyota red vs off the shelf/regular green"

I can't seem to find any info on the Toyota green. I have been reading and the Red is kind on rubber seals and the pump but not so great on aluminum.

    Sorry for being pedantic

Where did you find the information that Red coolant damages aluminium?

Red coolant is/was generally sourced from and for the Far East markets, whereas the Green is sourced from a European supplier as is hence used in and supplied to cars for that market.

Read it on two American based forums. I didn't say it damaged it but apparently its not as good at resisting corrosion.
