Hi all, I'm new to this forum as I have owned my surf since August this year and this is me now getting to sorting the niggly bits annoying me. I currently have the starter motor off awaiting the rebuild kit and I am mid-task of taking the fuel pump off, I have a 1990 2.4 td auto. My main question so far is once I get the fuel pump off I need to change the rear seal and was wondering what is the best way to go about it? And what to be careful of. All answers will be greatly appreciated as I don't want my fuel pump to empty itself like a jack in the box on me lol. I look forward to hearing from you all, thanks!
