Starting trouble???

Hi Guys.

My Surf roars into life first turn every morning from cold - awesome. When warm, she doesn't like to start until 3/4 glow plug cycles and two or three retries. Any ideas? Tribs

Have you done a compression check?

What fault codes do you have?

Check all the vacuum hoses are OK.

Check the fuel filters are OK

Check the fuel tank is breathing OK

Remove the drain tap from bottom of filter water sensor and replace the small 0-ring. This may not be your problem but has caused similar issues to yours.

Thanks Albannach but it's all Greek to me. I can see a Haynes manual purchase coming on. Thanks in advance though.
